About Tact Enviro Ltd
What we do
Our main flooring brand is our 'own label' floor tiles known as TactTiles. These we distribute exclusively in the UK and Ireland for Swedish manufacturer Bergo Flooring AB. TactTiles are a high quality injection-moulded polypropylene flooring system, with a multitude of uses from balcony flooring to sports flooring.
We also stock top quality flooring brand Forbo, the manufacturer of Marmoleum sports flooring and other exciting modular products for both domestic and commercial flooring use. Also AquaStep, a waterproof wood effect flooring suitable for sports halls and gyms as well as domestic use. For indoor play and domestic use, Tact supply an exciting and innovative range for carpet tiles from top brand Heuga.
Following the initial success of TactTiles, we have expanded into the sports flooring and leisure markets; clients include schools, leisure centres and local authorities. Tact also supply industrial flooring, including warehouse and factory floors, shops, offices and libraries. Domestic customers find Tact can solve flooring problems for applications such as balconies, terraces, garages, pool and spa surrounds, home gyms and home sports courts.
Who we are
Tact Enviro Ltd was established in 1999 by John and Pippa Highnam and is based at Langport in the heart of the Somerset Levels. Tact is a family business with a strong ethos of customer care and commitment to quality. Tact is a commercial affiliate member of the Institure of Sports & Recreation Management, and is a member of the Federation of Small Businesses. We network with Business Link and the Somerset Chamber of Commerce.
Tact is no ordinary flooring business; it specialises in solving flooring problems and providing effective solutions to unusual applications. Many of Tact's products are modular and easy to install by the competent DIY'er but for the larger, or more complex installations, Tact has a team of fitters who will travel all over the UK and Ireland.
