Multi-Sport surface

300mm x 300mm (12" x 12")

Description

For playability and durability Multi-Sport is the winner.  It can be used indoors and out and is a practically maintenance free surface.  Ideal for all ball games, Multi-Sport provides good traction and ball bounce, combined with free drainage and an anti-slip surface.  Multi-Sport can be laid outside over any hard, draining surface and is ideal as a refurbishment surface in sports halls.  A very fine aggregate incorporated into the mix gives Multi-Sport an excellent wear layer and makes it a superb surface for roller blading and in-line hockey.

Examples of Uses

  • Five-a-Side Football
  • Basketball
  • Netball
  • Handball
  • Volleyball
  • Tennis
  • Badminton
  • Inline Hockey.

Colours

Green, Dark Blue, Light Blue, Silver Grey, Light Grey.

Dimensions

303 x 303 x 13.7mm

Pattern

Multi-Sport has a ’snowflake’ pattern. When the tiles are placed together the effect is seamless. The pattern creates very small triangular holes in the tile which allows water to drain and air to circulate. They also create grip for the feet.

Edges

Edges are required in doorways and along exposed edges to provide a neat finish and prevent a trip hazard. Edges can be attached onto any side of the Multi-Sport tile.

Expansions

in order to allow for thermal movement, Expansions should be inserted into the floor every 7 to 10 tiles in each direction. Crosspieces are available for intersections. Multi-Sport Expansions are smaller and stronger than the normal Expansiontiles, to allow for the demands of sports use.

Corners

Corners are required where 2 outer Edges meet.  Corners are available in the whole colour range.
