Anti-slip flooring
TactTiles are a unique flooring system made from hygienic polypropylene which provides a clean and safe flooring for wet areas such as showers, changing rooms and poolsides.
Showers and wet areas
The Metro tile is the most suitable for these areas. Metro has an excellent anti-slip surface created by a network pattern with small triangular shaped holes which allow grip for the feet and ensure that water drains away.
Metro is ideal for those areas between the showers and changing area where wet footprints dry out quickly and there are no longer puddles on the floor. As one of our customers told us 'it's marvellous, no more wet knickers!'
Metro tiles are simply cleaned by using a damp mop or wet vac. The tiles are easily unzipped and uplifted for occasional deep cleaning. Our clients tell us that Metro reduces their daily cleaning regime and that they plan for a maintenance clean every month.
Dry areas
The Metro tiles can be used for dry areas, but if a solid topped tile is preferred, then Metro can be connected onto the Elite or Nova tiles for a smart and practical solution to the whole changing room area.
