When Colin Thompson from Glens Bar in Edinburgh contacted Tact for information on their flooring, his main concerns were trying to find a suitable surface for his cellar. Naturally, cellars get damp and the surface needed to be safe and be able to handle heavy loads, such as barrels, crates and boxes.
Tact’s heavy duty ‘Premium’ tile was ideal for this application. Colin initially tried these in Silver Grey in a small area.
Being very impressed with the speed and simplicity with which Premium can be laid, he soon contacted Tact again for more, announcing ‘it’s brilliant’!
The small perforations allow spillages to drain freely away and prevent any being trailed through the bar and ruining carpets. These floors also have superb anti-slip qualities; a must for wet environments.
