Tennis Court Surfaces

TactTiles interlocking floor tiles create a superb tennis court surface with the correct ball bounce evaluated by the Swedish Tennis Association as a 'medium paced game'. Our tennis court tiles are made to a special formulation and have a textured surface to giving tennis balls the optimum spin and bounce.  The surface acts like a sprung floor and is proven to be easier on the back and joints, enabling players to play for longer.

The free flow design of our sports tiles allows rainwater to drain quickly away with no need for sweeping or squeegeeing off puddles.  In tropical climates this court surfacing system proves monsoon-proof. The ventilated surface hides dust and is not glaring to the players eye. With a life expectancy of over 20 years and minimal maintenance, TactTiles tennis court sufacing offers excellent value for money. For the domestic court, the white lines are created from the tiles themselves, so re-marking is a thing of the past.

A standard tennis court can be laid over any hard surface including old tarmac, concrete or even a sand based surface. The court surface comes in larger pre-assembled sheets and can be installed over a weekend with 2 or 3 helpers. Tile finishes are available in both Wimbledon Grass Green and Clay Court Red as standard colours - courts can be all one colour, or have the playing area defined. Blue is only available by special order and subject to factory production schedules.

Many tarmac courts will have suffered from the effects of snow and ice over this recent hard winter.  TactTiles Tennis surface is an easy way to give yourself the playing surface you have always wanted - with no installation mess or environmental impact, permanant white lines, quickly and easily installed and absolutely minimal maintenance.  A superb playing surface for the next 20 years and more.

Mini Tennis

Mini tennis courts are ideal for developing younger players and can be laid and removed when required.  This system is ideal for schools, youth clubs and for domestic use.  A Mini Tennis Court can be laid in the corner of a playground where its scaled down size gives youngsters an ideal introduction to the game.

Intro: Tennis Courts

DIY court

Mr Townsend's old tarmac court needed a major upgrade.  He laid the TactTiles Tennis surface himself and was delighted with look and playability of his new court.

This new surface will give the owner 20+ years of practically maintenance-free life. The lines are built into the court so there will be no need for any new marking or suface coatings. Cleaning off debris and moss is a relative breeze also as nothing much sticks to TactTiles.

Clifton court

This colourful court was laid over an existing concrete court, improving the visual amenity and giving a much better playing surface.  Mr Clifton was delighted with his new facility.

Tact Enviro Contract staff levelled off the old sunken concrete sub-strate giving a superb base for the TactTiles Tennis surface. Any further movement or tree root problems can be easily addressed with TactTiles as they can be unzipped, the sub-base repaired and the tiles re-instated.

Irish court

This TactTiles Tennis court in Ireland was laid in just one day in December by the Tact team.  The customer Mrs Gray was thrilled with the transformation and was looking forward to playing tennis all the year round.

A 20 year service life and minimal maintenance are major cost saving factors when selecting a TactTiles Tennis surface. The lack of environmental impact with this type of product is also a real benefit - no glues, no solvents, no smells.

TactTiles tennis surfaces are truly magical to play on and you can have a much longer, safer game as the surface is practically 'air-sprung'. You don't need costly footwear either as the surface itself is cushioned for play.
